The Founder
Hisham A. Hijjawi served the Foundation since its inception in 1981 until his premature death in 1990
• Born in the city of Nablus, Palestine in 1931, studied at An-Najah College and worked in the education field for two years.
• Traveled to Kuwait in 1953, and worked there, he succeeded in business due to his continuous hard work, his success did not take him away from the people need to support.
• He believed that human resources development is achieved by advanced technical education in order to understand frequent technologies changes.
• He endowed much of his wealth for the Foundation in order to provide continuous financial support for human resources development.
• He passed away on April 5, 1990.
